A little about our current addition project:

It was a fun project, but because we did this in our "spare time" I know it took a little longer then Mom (and us) had anticipated. Thanks for hanging in there with us, all!

We are converting an existing 16' x 20' (rather old) garage into a 22' x 36' vaulted workshop. We will enlarge it by making the addition cantilever over a lower tiered portion of the yard, creating storage underneath. This will require concrete work, including stairs to the lower tier. We will re-roof, install new siding, install electrical for heating and recessed lights, and finish out the inside nicely with a smooth wall finish. It will have lots of natural light with a variety of windows and skylights, as well as a 10' x 16' deck attached to the back. It will be divided by a wall into two separate rooms - one for glass working, and the other for wood working. We truly are enjoying this project, and shoot to be completed in the spring!
